“It was dusk and the sun was going down over the horizon. James aka Jay was checking out this cute hotty that he met at the game last week and couldn’t wait to get a glimpse at those legs one more time. The old Chrysler was giving him problems that week but she was his pride and joy how could he simply throw her out…he hoped that she’d make it to the diner so he could see her [crystal] she didn’t stay long but was there on time each week.
Jay popped the tire and switched it in record time…hoping he wasn’t late because of that nail in the grooves. When he pulled up she was coming out of the diner on her way home…or where ever she goes after the weekly met. He pulled up to the curb lightly trailing her. He held is head out the window..’ Crystal where ya going…the party just started’ he smiled at her. “Ah…gotta get home dinner will be ready and mom hates it when I’m late.” she smiled back at him the shine glimmering in her eyes and he was mesmerized. “Damn well crystal are you interested in hanging this Friday with me…somewhere?” “well Jay you are a good friend…but I don’t think so…I wouldn’t want to ruin our friendship.”
